Kaner, Clara Ruth

July 13, 1918 - April 18, 2012.

Died at the age of 93. Preceded in death by parents Ben and Rose Kaner, and siblings Beatrice, Ethel, and Sidney. Clara was born in Superior, Wisconsin, and her family moved to northern Minnesota. She graduated from Nashwauk High School and the University of Minnesota School of Business Administration. She worked in purchasing in Duluth, Minneapolis, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. When she returned to Minnesota from California, she became a buyer in the purchasing department of the city of Minneapolis and worked there until her retirement. She was a volunteer for children's programs in the St. Louis Park schools. Private service was held in Superior, WI. Memorials to the Clara Ruth Kaner Children's Fund, c/o Minneapolis Jewish Federation.
